AAA Surveillance, Inc. is centrally located in Anne Arundel County, Maryland.  We are approximately 15 minutes south of
Baltimore City and 15 minutes north of Annapolis.  Our Detective Agency and employees are licensed by the Maryland State
Police to conduct surveillance anywhere in the state of Maryland.  We are licensed to travel nationwide as long as your case
is based out of Maryland.  Every effort has been made to provide you with all the information you need to understand our
services.

The main focus of our business is surveillance.  We follow people around and document their activities using a video camera
or digital still camera.  Documenting the activities of someone without their knowledge can be very challenging.

Because of the sensitive nature of our business we do NOT return phone calls that are missed if we are unable to answer
during your initial attempt.  The last thing we want is to call you back and possibly put you in an uncomfortable situation, in
the event that your spouse is near you.  Although we would like to have your business, we respect your privacy more.  Since
the owner takes all calls directly on his cell phone, there will be times that he is unable to answer because of various
situations.  Rather then leaving a message, we simply ask that you wait 30-45 minutes and try again.  We are confident that
your wait will be rewarded with outstanding customer service

For all you know, your home computer could have a SPY program loaded on it that keeps track of everything you type, every
website you visit and every email sent and received.  If you are not familiar with this technology check out
www.eBlaster.com.  This is just one of many programs that will perform these functions.  Your spouse may not think that
YOU are cheating but is keeping a close eye on what you know about his/her activities.

With that in mind here are a couple of basic things you can do to prevent your spouse from finding out that you have hired a
Private Detective.

Do NOT use your home computer to communicate with anyone related to the investigation.
Create a NEW free email account through Yahoo, MSN, Hotmail or Google.
Only check your new email from a safe computer i.e. Public Library, close friend or work.
Never call our office from your residence or cell phone.  Call from work or a public pay phone.
Make payments to our office in Cash or Money Order.
Open up a P.O. Box if you want to receive reports and invoices without using a computer.
Open up a safety deposit box to store all documents related to the investigation.
Do NOT keep any documents or notes in your purse, briefcase or hiding place in the house.
Do NOT tell anyone else, except an attorney, that you have hired an investigator.

I could tell you a story about each one of these items that have been directly related to a case that was compromised.  The
bottom line is that we will not be able to catch someone that is cheating if they know that there are being watched.  Cover
your tracks and also remember that your spouse may be checking on your activities to make sure that they haven't been
caught; yet.

1.  Spends less time with you. A cheating spouse must use the excuse of working long hours, extra meetings and dinners or
other unexplained functions so he/she will have time with the “other” person.

2.  Is not as affectionate any more. Your sex life is almost non-existent because of his/her other commitments. He/She does
not want to cuddle, watch a movie, hold hands or do many of the touchy things he/she used to do with all of the time.

3.  He/She changes his/her physical appearance. A cheating spouse usually starts buying new clothes, gets a new hair style,
or begins working out because he/she wants to be attractive to the other person in his/her life besides you.

4.  Car changes. The passenger seat in the car has been moved or there is an unknown hair on the car seat. Perhaps the radio
station is on an irregular station because that’s what the other person likes.

5.  Short temper. Cheating spouse becomes more short-tempered because of the guilty feelings as a result of the infidelity.
Things that usually did not bother them suddenly start bothering them.

6.  A lingering smell. A cheating spouse may smell of perfume, smoke, or alcohol, especially if he/she
has not had time to change them from meeting with him/her.

7.  Behavioral changes. A cheating spouse frequently becomes defensive when questioned about his/her
whereabouts. He/She may turn it around to accuse you of being insecure, possessive or snoopy.

8.  Cell phone changes. A cheating spouse can not leave his/her telephone turned on when with you because the other person
may call. He/She may leave the room to have a telephone conversation or say strange things after picking up a message from
his/her lover. Watch for calls in the middle of the night. If you have access to his/her telephone bill, check it closely. Look
for repeated unknown numbers, times and durations.

9.  Computer usage changes. A cheating spouse may utilize a computer to seek out partners or communicate with. If your
spouse is on his/her computer for long periods of time at night and he/she closes the door so you won’t see him/her, he/she
may be communicating or chatting with his/her love interest.

10.  Changes in spending habits. You can tell if your spouse is cheating if he/she is suddenly always broke. He/She is broke
because he/she is spending all of his/her money on the other person. Watch as to whether he/she is paying with cash and
making more frequent ATM withdrawals to cover his/her paper trail.

Our investigators can work undercover to help you determine whether your husband/wife is committing adultery. We will
work with you to develop a plan that makes sense for your situation.  Many clients have not yet contacted an attorney upon
calling our office.  Why hire an   attorney if you don't know if your spouse is cheating?  In this situation we will work
directly with you to gather the evidence that is needed in every divorce case; Opportunity and Disposition. We will need to
show that your spouse is alone with someone for a period of time where they could be having sex.  This is known as
"Opportunity".  We do not have to see or videotape what they are doing but simply document what time they disappear
together and what time they reappear.  We then need to show some type of public affection which is a kiss, holding hands, a
hug, walking with arms around each other, etc.   This is known as "Disposition".  In the event that your spouse is caught,
you decide whether to take this information to an attorney.  Just because you have the evidence does not mean you have to
act upon it.  We'll help guide you through the process step by step.   AAA Surveillance, Inc., can also work directly with
your attorney.  Your attorney may want our investigation to focus on something very specific that he/she feels will benefit
your case if it were to go to court.  We gather the evidence that your attorney needs to present the strongest possible case on
your behalf.

The most difficult part of this job is being able to follow someone in a vehicle.  I wish it was as easy as they make it appear
on television.  When is the last time you saw a television show where the person being followed was lost in traffic?

Most people have an expectation that they can have someone followed all day/night long.  It is very difficult to follow a
vehicle all day long without being discovered.  Our success depends on a number of factors.  The type of person being
followed (aware of their surrounding, high speed driver), traffic conditions (rush hour, heavy rain, a lot of traffic lights),
country roads v.s. open  highway, night v.s. day and the distance being traveled.

It's a Balancing Act between "don't lose him/her" and "don't get caught".  There are no guarantees.  It may take multiple
attempts to accomplish your surveillance goals when following a vehicle is part of the requirement to gather evidence. As part
of our discussion related to your surveillance goals we will also ask you some questions related to following your spouse.
There are times where the investigator
may notice a change in the targets driving behavior which may  indicate that they have become curious about one or both of
our vehicles.  Some people like to take a low risk approach and other are more aggressive.  In this situation with a low risk
client the investigators would immediately break off.  A more aggressive approach would be to continue following the target
until we are certain that there are testing to see if they are being followed.

Our experienced investigators can help determine whether your child is being cared for properly while out of your view and in
the control of others. Things that we would typically look for are:

  • Is the parent in question spending quality time with the child?
  • Does the parent dump the child off with relatives or a babysitter to go out Friday/Saturday night when he/she just
picked up the child for the weekend?
  • Is the child being exposed to others of questionable character at the residence or other location?
  • Is the child being taken care of a majority of the time by someone other then the parent?
  • Is the child being transported safely in a vehicle?
  • Is the child allowed to roam around the neighborhood unsupervised?
  • Is the child home each night at an age appropriate time?

What we typically see in Child Custody battles is that while one of the parents is fighting for custody they really do not have a
true interest in the child.  It may be that the grandparents are in the background controlling the situation or that they are just
using this as leverage for future negotiations.  What we try to show is that the parent in question would rather be doing other
things then spending quality time with the child or that they place the child in danger through a faulty decision making process.
